Since 2023, Touax has established a CSR Committee within its Supervisory Board to implement an ambitious strategy, integrated into its core business, aiming to:
Offer leasing solutions for sustainable, reliable and cost-effective transportation, helping our clients to reduce their CO2 emissions
Integrate concrete actions for a sustainable world into our management while strengthening our competitiveness through reliability, safety and operational excellence
Create competitive advantages and enhancing customer loyalty
Increase employees’ engagement within the Group
Maintain a high ESG rating to be recognized and respected as a responsible manager
Increase and optimize our financing capabilities with banks and investors, which are particularly attentive to ESG criteria
Improve the Group's reputation and our relationships with stakeholders (public authorities, suppliers and clients)
Touax also joined the United Nations Global Compact in 2023, thereby affirming its societal commitment and active support for the Sustainable Development Goals.
In 2024, the Group strengthened its CSR governance with the appointment of a Group CSR Coordinator and the creation of a Steering Committee. Several concrete actions have been implemented: reducing the carbon footprint through carbon credits, revising the company car policy and organizing regular training sessions on key issue.
Touax is also continuing its sustainable finance strategy by integrating ESG criteria into its investment decisions, updating its Green Finance Framework and aiming for 75% of "green" financing by the end of 2024.
Touax's CSR performance is assessed by independent third parties, thus positioning the Group in a continuous improvement dynamic.
For the second consecutive year, Touax received the EcoVadis gold medal, with a score of 79/100 (+7 points compared to 2023) placing it in the top 2% of the 150,000 companies evaluated worldwide.
Furthermore, Touax SCA earned the Ethifinance Ratings gold medal with a score of 75/100 (+5 points compared to 2023), securing the top position in the "Industry" sector / "Transport" sub-sector among 1,868 listed SMEs, thereby confirming its continuous progress in environmental matters, social responsibility, governance and sustainable procurement.
